Walking in the woods

I was walking in the woods and this tree caught my eye due to the bizarre structures of the roots, so I took a picture to show it to the world.

First wonderful day of spring

It was a very nice first day of this year’s spring. In the woods, Anemona nemorosa, the ‘bushwindrose’ in german, starts to flower. The birds are increasing their singing and looking for nesting places.
